WPC Gracie moves to a new bleat in Martlets Charity Shop
WPC Gracie is due to move to a new beat today, Friday 22nd September and will be displayed in Martlets London Road shop until the end of Martlets’ Shaun by the Sea art trail.
Crime-fighting cop Shaun the Sheep WPC Gracie has a new beat from Friday 22nd September within Martlets Charity Shop on London Road.

She has been patrolling the Bandstand since 9th September but will now be keeping savvy shoppers safe and encouraging some ewe-nique charity shop finds. Visitors will also be able to purchase a range of Shaun the Sheep merchandise in store while they visit.
Along with WPC Gracie, Roving Shaun will also be on display at other Martlets Charity Shops throughout the trail. Shaun by the Sea fans can see a large Shaun sculpture in Martlets Woodingdean until 27th September and a small Shaun sculpture in Martlets Church Street until 25th September where they will move on to Blatchington Road and Western Road respectively.
Charlotte Brown, Shop Manager at Martlets London Road said:
“We are delighted to welcome dedicated police officer WPC Gracie to her new beat – within our shop! Visitors will be able to grab their selfies with her 7 days a week, and bag some bargains while they visit her too.
“We’re delighted that our baa-rilliant community have been so supportive of our trail since it launched. If you would like to Help Martlets Keep Caring, you can support us at shaunbythesea.co.uk/donate or make a donation in store.”
Outside of opening hours, Shaun by the Sea visitors will still be able to see WPC Gracie through the shop window and unlock her code on the app. She will remain in Martlets London Road shop until Martlets’ public art trail ends on Sunday 5th November.
