About Gratitude

In memory of loved ones lost, ‘Gratitude’ is a celebration of the special people in our lives who are always in our hearts, and a ‘thank you’ to Martlets for the kindness and care their dedicated staff teams offer to everyone affected by terminal illness.

Grief can often feel like a dark cloud hanging over us, but the sun always shines above the clouds.

Emma Fish is a local contemporary jeweller and stained-glass artist whose work is rich in colour. This memorial bench is dedicated to her wonderful mum who is deeply missed.

About Martlets

Martlets provides essential hospice care for people affected by terminal illness in Brighton & Hove and neighbouring areas. We are currently rebuilding our Hospice in Hove to transform access to vital care across our community. The majority of Martlets’ funding comes from donations and fundraising, so your support of the Shaun by the Sea trail will help ensure that we can keep on caring, helping families make the most of the precious time they have together.
