About Shaun of the Re-wilding

A joyful tribute to the spirit of rewilding. Shaun is abuzz with bees, insects, butterflies, and British wildflowers in abstract form to invoke a feeling of freedom and life in the wild. The light emanating from the landscape symbolises a new dawn: now is the time to take action to preserve our planet’s biodiversity for generations to come.

Tina Davies is a painter and potter who has lived and worked in Brighton for 25 years. Inspired by nature, she works freely on large canvasses, painting mainly with her hands and her work is full of expression and colour.

About Lloyds Bank

This sculpture is sponsered by Lloyds Bank. Shaun by the Sea is organised by and raising money for Martlets.

Martlets provides essential hospice care for people affected by terminal illness in Brighton & Hove and neighbouring areas. We are currently rebuilding our Hospice in Hove to transform access to vital care across our community. The majority of Martlets’ funding comes from donations and fundraising, so your support of the Shaun by the Sea trail will help ensure that we can keep on caring, helping families make the most of the precious time they have together.
