Shelmer
‘Shelmer’ is based on the children’s book Elmer. He is made up of lots of little squares decorated by all of the families and staff at the nursery. On the base, ‘Shelmer’ is covered in welcoming words in different languages to represent the diversity of the nursery, and to make anyone who reads them feel welcome in Brighton.
